The Show Must Go On… Without Added Harm

As an entrepreneur, YOU are your brand. This means, your values, your approach, your beliefs, your learned (and unlearned) behavior are upheld in your products, services, and communication.Trauma-sensitive entrepreneurship is a compassion-centered approach to the understanding of when a client is responding out of trauma or harm. This workshop is for small-business owners who are interested in committing to fulfilling values of social justice in their organizational efforts from a trauma-informed perspective!

Spotlight Testimonial

When I started working with Michelle, I was incredibly passionate about my DEI journey, but had reached the point where I could no longer DIY it. I had attended workshops, read books, and grown tremendously as far as my education and activism, but I was having trouble learning how to integrate DEI more deeply into my business and services, courses, and offerings. I was holding SO MUCH shame and guilt about what I had done when I wasn’t fully on my antiracism journey (even though at the time I thought I WAS being an ally) that it was literally blocking me from being able to show up fully in my business. Holy. Shit.

Michelle met me with so much love and acceptance and helped me see that “It’s not about shaming yourself for what harm you caused, it’s about celebrating and holding all the parts of you who want to do better.” She gave me REAL practices and tools to implement into my business and hard conversations to help me feel deeply empowered to not only hold space for my diverse clientele, but also CREATE space for them to feel fully seen. I have never believed that DEI work is optional, but at a time, it felt so impossible.

Now, I am BEGINNING (I say beginning because this is a never-ending journey of unlearning) to understand how to be an ally + how to be a good ancestor.

I cannot recommend her enough. Her dose of realness with her innate ability to see the whole of you and mirror back who you truly are mixed with her deep passion for this work make her an irreplaceable asset and ally on this journey.
